The Latest Vac-Con Products Exceed Customer Expectations

Vac-Con released the Titan™ Dual Engine Combination Machine at the 2018 Water & Waste Water Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since its release over one year ago, this unit has made waves in the market and users are impressed with the outcome.

The Titan has been well-received by operators across the county as well as internationally. One customer in particular, Carthage Water & Electric Plant (CW&EP) located in Carthage, Missouri bought their Titan unit at just the right time.

CW&EP has become very active in the maintenance and rehabilitation of their collection systems that provide service to over 14,000 residents. The Titan will take center stage as CW&EP begin to develop and implement these programs across their facilities. “The capabilities of the Titan will play a critical role in these programs along with its many other uses,” said Jason Choate, Director of Water Services. “I’m amazed at how much this truck has improved our overall efficiency in all aspects of our operation.”

The dual engine design and upgraded components that maximize fuel-savings were an important purchase point. “I preferred the Vac-Con combo truck to others in the industry because of their 50 GPM at 3,000 PSI pump,” said Cecil Howard, Distribution/Collections Manager. “This lets our crews spend more time jetting sewer lines and less time filling up the truck. While you are jetting, the chassis motor is turned off, and you use the auxiliary motor to run the jetter. This lets you stand in front of the machine without all of the excessive noise, while realizing a significant fuel-savings.”
