Nosco recently partnered with Adagio Teas on the following success story. It was later submitted to the Flexible Packaging Association (FPA) Awards.
Adagio Teas came to Nosco with a need to reduce packaging and provide an alternative to their rigid loose tea tins. The team was looking for an easy-to-ship, lightweight, and cost-effective solution, which made flexible packaging an easy choice.
To accomplish this goal, Nosco selected a 3.5mil metPET with a thermally laminated matte finish. This provided the barrier and aesthetic that Adagio wanted to achieve for their premium tea leaf blends. Nosco helped Adagio Teas make the switch from rigid loose tea tins to lightweight flexible packaging. This helped the brand keep their high-end graphics, while also:
- Creating less waste with a visually appealing format.
- Providing a cost-effective solution.
- Assisting with supply chain and shipping challenges.
The material was then printed and laminated in Carrollton, Texas on Nosco’s HP Indigo 20000 and Karlville Pack Ready Laminator. This allowed us to print a high number of SKUs with virtually no additional set up costs or time between art changes. The material was then sent to be form-fill-sealed at Adagio with an artisanal product.
