Did you know? Nosco is GMI Certified at three of its six facilities! In fact, we’re the first fully-certified GMI (Graphic Measures International) print facility in the United States for:

• Digital Cartons and Labels at Nosco’s On_Demand Solutions Center
• Conventional Cartons at Nosco’s Bridgeview, Illinois Location
• Conventional Cartons at Nosco’s Waukegan, Illinois Location

Each of the certifications awarded serve as formal recognition that Nosco complies with GMI’s international standards for process control and documentation, equipment maintenance, equipment performance, operator capability and training procedures. Additionally, as a global leader in packaging quality services, GMI certifies, monitors and measures the performance of designated packaging suppliers.

“This certification allows Nosco to print across multiple print platforms, providing consistent, repeatable color that meets the requirements of some of the largest brands in the industry,” said Bill Nimmer, Packaging Advisor for Nosco.

Nosco will work to maintain both of its current certifications in the future, as well as explore other GMI opportunities, to comply with various packaging quality assurance (PQA) programs.
