More than 250 community members attended Nosco’s first ever Career Fair and Open House on July 23. Held at the company’s Gurnee, Illinois facility, Nosco’s employee owner team worked in partnership with local career development centers to promote open positions in:
- Account Management
- Finance
- Graphic Services
- Logistics
- Business Development
- Bindery and More!
THE EVENT
Upon arrival, attendees met with members from Nosco’s People Operations team for a rundown of the event. They then walked through set stations to speak with various Nosco departments, learn more about our ESOP and discuss other areas of interest.
After getting a general idea of the company, attendees were then taken on a tour of the Gurnee production floor – which proved to be a great success. Here’s what a few attendees had to say:
“The big thing I liked was the openness with how [Nosco] work[s].”
“I loved the fact that we were able to tour the plant and get a sense for the products.”
The Career Fair and Open House concluded with a few giveaways and food trucks to help keep the conversation (and fun) going. Overall, the Nosco team received nearly 30 employee referrals – great news for the future of the company.
