Local County Preps for Hurricane Season with New Vac-Con
As we move further into hurricane season, municipalities and contractors across coastal communities are ramping up their storm-preparation projects. Clay County, Florida, the home county of Vac-Con, evaluated their need for new equipment to help ensure the communities within their jurisdiction are ready for an increase in water levels and storm surge possibilities over the next few months. Clay County received their new Vac-Con combination machine in May and are already putting it to good use clearing storm drains and basins in flood-prone areas.
“The team at Vac-Con is proud to be able to build this type of essential equipment for the very communities in which our employee-owners live, work, and play,” said Todd Masley, President. “We understand how crucial the jobs are that our equipment can complete. Our local leaders made a wise investment in upgrading their fleet to keep our communities ready for whatever mother nature will throw at us this season and seasons to come.”
