Vac-Con Representation at Florida APWA
The annual Florida APWA convention and exposition was held November 4th and 5th in Orlando, Florida. Southern Sewer Equipment Sales, the municipal dealer for Vac-Con in Florida, was present and engaged with decision-makers and operators from various municipalities and contractors in the region.
Southern Sewer hosted their traditional ‘Vac-It-Ball’ competition on day one of the convention, which tested the ability and quickness of operators through a basketball type of competition. Operators must compete to see who is the fastest at dunking a ball using the Vac-Con vacuum system and boom. The Vac-Con Titan was the machine of choice for the competition, showcasing the Aeroboost 3-stage fan and Omnibus Precision Power control system.
Day two of the show included the exposition, where Southern Sewer showcased a dual engine combination machine along side various other product lines.
Although the impact of COVID-19 was visible throughout the event, attendee turnout and participation were substantial. Vac-Con is looking forward to being a part of the 2022 FL APWA show in April of next year at the Tampa Convention Center.
