Vac-Con Welcomes Congresswoman Cammack
On Monday, August 30th, Vac-Con leadership received a visit from Congresswoman Kat Cammack of Florida’s 3rd congressional district.
The meeting revolved around the needs and demands of the current industry and workforce, and how local representation could provide a helping hand in supporting manufacturing.
Representative Cammack will be assisting with research into developing manufacturing classes at local high schools and community colleges to help fill the labor pipeline with qualified employees.
Other topics discussed included supply chain outlooks and foreseeable changes in tax laws. As always, the Vac-Con team was honored to welcome the Congresswoman onsite and is looking forward to planning a full plant tour in the near future
