Vac-Con and their subsidiary Vector Technologies, Ltd. showcased their hydro-excavation product lines at the 2019 ICUEE Expo in Louisville, Kentucky October 1st through October 3rd. ICUEE is the construction and utility industry's largest tradeshow covering 28 acres of indoor and outdoor exhibits and bringing more than 18,000 utility professionals together every two years.
Vac-Con and Vector partnered with their dealer, Ring Power Utility Equipment, to exhibit the X-Cavator truck-mounted hydro-excavation machine and the Mudslinger trailer-mounted hydro-excavation machine. Additionally, Vac-Con partnered with truck lift manufacturer, and Vac-Con vendor, Stertil-Koni, to exhibit a 3-yard X-Cavator.
"The ICUEE exposition occurs every two years, and it continues to grow each showing," said Bryce Rieger, National Sales Manager. "We were excited to have the opportunity to showcase our products at both an indoor and outdoor booth, which helped us gain more exposure in the construction and utility industry."
Hydro-excavation is becoming a go-to method of excavating in North America as it's non-destructive characteristics mitigate the risks of damaging underground utilities as well as operators. "Since our establishment, our primary markets have been municipal and federal governments which utilize our combination machines for sewer and storm drain maintenance," said Rieger. "Our hydro-excavator machines are ideal for the up and coming contractor markets in construction and utility industries. It's important that customers in these industries understand what hydro-excavation is and where they can go to add these machines to their fleets. We had a very successful show and are optimistic about our own growth within this market."
As the hydro-excavation market heats up across North America, Vac-Con and Vector sales and marketing plans include more participation and exposure among this niche market including exhibiting at the No Dig show in Denver, Colorado this coming April.
Booth 3162 showcased the 3-yard X-Cavator on Stertil-Koni lifts.
Booth L346 showcased both the X-Cavator and Mudslinger among other product lines that dealer Ring Power Utility Equipment carries.
Temperatures were historically high at the outdoor booth, reaching a toasty 98-degrees! But it didn't stop the customers from coming through to kick some tires!
