This summer, Wildeck employee-owners participated in the 2025 Walk for Wellness Challenge, a month-long event held from Monday, June 2 to Sunday, June 29, designed to promote health and wellness. The challenge encouraged colleagues to track daily steps—aiming for a personalized goal of 6,000 to 10,000 steps through walking or other activities, submitted weekly to the organizers. The event also featured a weekly bingo challenge and other prizes, including Yeti water bottles, umbrellas, Wildeck branded merchandise, and much more.
The challenge was a great success, with Zach Danby taking first place, Becky Domina securing second, and Mike Kaczmarek earning third among the top monthly step leaders, each receiving prizes. Overall, Wildeck employee owners tracked more than 7 million steps in June, with more than half coming from the operations department. This initiative not only demonstrated the collective effort but also underscored Wildeck’s and Holden Industries’ commitment to the well-being of their employee-owners, fostering a culture of health and engagement within the company.
